More often than not, I hit my first shot. If I miss, I will be behind cover so that I could, if I wanted, reload my firearm completely, detach and reattach my scope/bullet loops, and use a laugh emote and you still wouldn’t see me. I don’t just point and shoot. If I have decided that shooting at you with my sniper is a good idea, I will be behind a tree, rock, or other solid cover and not on top of a ridge where you can see me. You will be far out in the open or standing still scoping in on someone else. I will make sure my 6 is clear, and that nobody else is sneaking up on me. I will be wearing clothes that match the colors behind me.

I won’t be using a weapon like the VSS where you will hear the shots before you get hit. I will have an actual sniper rifle, like a KAR98K. It will have a flash hider and an 8x. (I know where to loot, and in most matches I will have all of the above in less than 2 minutes)

When I take the shot, I will be accounting for the bullet drop, the place you will likely move next if you survive, and the location of your team mates.

You won’t hear me. You probably will never see me. The bullet will hit you first, and by the time you hear the shot, your helmet will be gone, or you will be on your way to the start menu. (or both) If I miss, you will have a general direction to look, but you still won’t have something to aim at. When you jump around with your scope on, you may eventually catch sight of me

You could call me a braggart, a tryhard, or a lier. You wouldn’t be the first. The truth is, however, that once a player has mastered the art of sniping and land movement/observation, they will dominate the match. A successful sniper shoots farther, kills faster, and wins more. It is also the hardest play type to master. I feel that once a player has mastered the art, they have the right to feel elite. They are.
