Is there any science to this? It’s a new thing I’ve been trying and it seems to help. I’ve also been lifting in the nude, except for squats, but I only wear a t-shirt.

I’ve always been interested in ancient history and that’s how they always worked out. Plus, if the statues are anything to go by, those guys were pretty fucking deezed for nattys.

I figured we have more efficient means of training in modern times, however with all the science behind training and diet, I tend to sort of lose the human element, you know? Connection with my body, feeling like a man, with hot red blood instead of a machine that just lifts, fulfills relationship obligations, eats, works, and sleeps.

The porn comes in with the fact that I train alone, and let’s face it, the Greeks were just a touch homoerotic and trained together, naked. If I had to guess, at least mentally, that had to affect performance. So, just like everything else from ancient times, it’s been replace with a stale, pre-packaged modern version. Porn. I tend to stick to the homosexual stuff, just to stick as close to the ancient practices as possible. And they tend to be in good shape, so I can see some goals to aspire to.

Anecdotally, I feel a lot stronger on harder sets, my maxes continue to increase, and my form is on point now that I know exactly what my body is doing without clothes in the way from filmed form checks.
