Well, hello there. Let’s talk about memes.

What are memes? How do you define “memes”? If you’re talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then “memes” are simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain. They may or may not excite the pleasure cells in your brain depending on the meme and the ease of accessibility to your pleasure cells (or “humor sense”).
When you consume a meme that barely makes you smile, your humor sense expands. The more your humor sense, the shittier memes you enjoy. In turn, the shittier memes you enjoy, the easier you laugh and experience euphoria. This addictive property of memes is the reason kids and adults of today have become slaves to memes. Memes kill you as much as they save you.
A meme is like a parasite. It needs you in order to survive, to get viral. You think a meme got you through yesterday, but you fail to realise that if not for your like or share, the meme would have died and you’d have still lived.

When you laugh at a meme, the meme laughs back at you.
